A mono thread treatment is a type of non surgical facelift procedure which involves inserting absorbable threads, known as PDO (Polydioxanone) threads, into the skin to lift, tighten and rejuvenate the appearance of sagging or wrinkled
skin.
The threads, which are very thin, are inserted into the subcutaneous layer of the skin with a fine needle. Once in place, these threads stimulate the production of collagen in the body which is a protein that helps to maintain elasticity and firmness of the skin.
Over time, the threads are naturally absorbed by the body.
The increased collagen production continues leading to an overall improvement in the appearance of the skin.
The PDO thread lift treatment is often used to treat areas of the face and neck, but it can also be used on other parts of the body. The treatment offers a more youthful appearance to the client without undergoing any surgery.
