Non surgical rhinoplasty is a medical procedure in which injectable fillers
are used to alter and shape nose of any person without invasive surgery.
The goal of this procedure is to make subtle changes to the appearance
of the nose to enhance facial harmony.
The most common fillers used in this procedure are hyaluronic acid (HA)
HA is a natural substance found in the skin and it adds volume and
plumps the area. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads may also be used to lift
and contour the nose. It usually takes less than an hour.
No downtime is required. Patients can immediately resume their normal
activities.
Results are immediate and can last from six months to a couple of years,
depending on the type of filler used.
Patients will need to have repeat treatments to maintain the
appearance.
There are possible side effects, including redness, bruising, swelling, and
infection.
